Our Dazzling Daisies Group is a reinforced Preschool programme for learning that builds on the children’s knowledge and skill base, learning style, and interests. Through a rich variety of engaging activities children investigate the fascinating world in which they live, which enhances the development of emerging knowledge and skills. A balance of child-initiated and adult-planned guided learning experiences, across the key areas of learning, are provided for throughout the day. We recognise each child’s emerging needs and interests, guiding their development through warm, positive interaction. As children grow older, and as their development allows, it is expected that the balance will gradually shift towards more activities led by adults, to help children prepare for more formal learning, ready for the Big School.
